Boycunt Nation: Goals for 2026

Happy New Year, Nationers.

2025 has been a wild ride, huh? Too wild. Without my consent, for the most part. I hope 2026 will be better, though it is hard to be optimistic. Still, I aim to live out of spite!

I have a few things I’d like to finish and maybe get published this year.

• Bite Back (trans M/cis M, vampire/werewolf)

• Desperate Times, Lewd Measures (trans MC, a different flavor of taboo)

• cis MM+ shorts I’ve got planned

• Sacrifice (eroguro for a litmag)

I’m sure something else will strike my fancy, but I’m setting these listed things as my goals for the year.

I have decided to try my hand at omniscient POV. Yes, for smut. How I think of scenes, brainstorm, everything, I usually look at it from all the angles. Papa’s Toy showed me how limiting it felt to write a singular POV in a chapter. There were so many ways I wanted to show what all the characters were thinking in certain scenes, but how I wrote it made it impossible.

500 words of DTLM in omniscient POV and I’m enjoying it. I seem to go more easily into thoughts and ideas than before. No idea if I’m doing it right, but that’s also subjective. That’s what beta readers will be for.

I got games over Christmas!

Finally got my hands on Baldur’s Gate 3! And hasn’t that been a learning experience. The combat is crazy, even on the Balanced difficulty. I actually changed it to the lowest difficulty (though it was recommended to me to try custom). I really want to get into the story and romance Astarion… but those fights take it out of me.

I also got No Man’s Sky, which I have played before but didn’t get very far. Space exploration? Yes please.

Had to get the new expansion for Diablo IV, of course. I need to see where that story goes, it’s so good. That game is everything I need in horror and aesthetic.
