Boycunt Nation: Better Late Than Never

Hello, Nationers.

The past few months have been rough. I realized recently the depression has been particularly deep lately, hence the late newsletter and lack of writing. Finding interest in anything has been hard. I’m slowly reading Don’t Let the Forest In, and it’s really good.

I did start writing a little bit of a love letter to cannabis. (I can’t be a stoner because of anxiety, and I’m very sad about it.) Looking to do a plant/body horror story about it. I’m also doing some rewrites to the first chapter of Bite Back I already wrote, as I’m trying out an omniscient POV.

But mostly I’m focusing on just letting myself rest. If I try to force myself or beat myself up about being productive, it just makes it worse.
